Washer Repair Service
When your washer stops draining, will not spin, leaks water, shakes during the spin cycle, makes noise, gets stuck mid-cycle, will not fill, or shows an error code, the real problem is not always obvious. Sometimes it is a drain pump, door lock, lid switch, water inlet valve, pressure sensor, suspension rods, shock absorbers, belt, motor, control board, hose, clogged drain path, or wiring issue.
EasyFix checks the real cause first. We do not replace parts just because they are common or easy to sell. We inspect the washer, explain what failed, give you the price before the repair, and fix what actually makes sense.
We also document real repairs, not just promises. You can see actual appliance repair cases in our EasyFix repair blog, including washer, dryer, refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, and other appliance repairs completed in local homes.
Not sure what appliance repair may cost? Read our pricing guide: EasyFix appliance repair prices. It explains our service call, labor, parts, and how we decide whether a repair makes sense before the work begins.
We provide washer repair across Clark & Cowlitz Counties and the Portland Metro Area, including Vancouver, Ridgefield, Battle Ground, Camas, Washougal, Woodland, Longview, Portland, Beaverton, Tigard, Lake Oswego, and nearby areas.

diagnose it quickly, identify the part and give us the total cost in writing; broken down with labor, materials, and tax. He returned the next day with the part and repaired it in a timely manner. - Samsung washer error 3E1 diagnosis and repair
A real Samsung washer case where the error code had to be checked carefully before recommending a repair. We did not guess from the code alone — the washer was inspected and the failure was confirmed first. - Washer keeps draining on its own
This case shows why a washer problem is not always a bad control board. The washer kept draining, but the real cause had to be found through inspection instead of replacing expensive parts without proof. - Samsung washer lid lock replacement
A washer that will not start or finish a cycle can have a door or lid lock problem. In this repair, the failed lock was confirmed and replaced with the correct OEM part. - LG washer drain pump replacement
A real washer repair where the drain problem was confirmed before replacing the pump. The repair was completed with the correct OEM part and tested before completion. - Washer door gasket replacement
A washer leak is not something to ignore. This case involved a front-load washer door gasket replacement, where the leak area had to be inspected and repaired with the proper part.

Washer Repair — Common Questions
1. How much does washer repair cost?
The service call is $110, and it covers the visit and diagnosis. This fee is for finding the real problem, not for the repair itself.
If you approve the repair, the $110 service call is applied toward the repair price. For many common washer repairs, labor usually starts from our minimum billable labor rate of $220.
Parts, shipping or pickup cost, and sales tax may be added depending on the model and failure. You can also read our EasyFix appliance repair prices page to see how we explain service call, labor, parts, and repair approval.2. Can you estimate washer repair by photos and model number?
In many cases, yes. If you send us the washer brand, model number, photos, and a clear description of the problem, we can often give you a rough estimate before the visit.
This helps us understand the issue, check parts availability, and sometimes arrive with the right part already prepared.
The final price is confirmed after inspection because similar washer symptoms can have different causes.3. Do you warranty your washer repairs?
Yes. We provide a 90-day warranty on labor and the parts we install.
If the same washer issue returns within that period, we will come back and check it under the warranty terms.
The warranty covers the original repair, not a new or unrelated problem that appears later.4. Is it worth repairing a washer?
In many cases, yes. If the washer is in decent condition and the failure is limited to one repairable part, repair often makes more sense than replacing the whole machine.
The main question is not only the repair price. The real question is whether the washer is still in good condition and likely to keep working after the repair.
You can also read our guide: Is it worth repairing or replacing your appliance?5. Why is my washer not draining?
A washer may stop draining because of a failed drain pump, clogged drain filter, blocked drain hose, foreign object in the pump, wiring issue, control problem, or a restriction in the home drain system.
We check the drain path and pump operation before recommending parts, because a no-drain washer is not always just a bad pump.6. Why is my washer not spinning?
A washer may not spin because of a door lock or lid switch problem, motor issue, belt problem, control board failure, unbalanced load, bad suspension, drain issue, pressure sensor problem, or a motor feedback error.
We inspect the washer first and confirm the real cause instead of guessing from the symptom alone.7. Why is my washer leaking water?
A washer can leak from the door gasket, drain pump, hoses, water inlet valve, dispenser area, tub seal, or internal connections.
The leak location matters. A small leak at the front door is not the same repair as a leak from the pump, hose, or tub area.8. Why is my washer shaking during the spin cycle?
A washer may shake because of worn shock absorbers, weak suspension rods, an unbalanced load, leveling problems, loose parts, tub movement issues, or floor support problems.
If the washer is walking, banging, or hitting the cabinet during spin, it should be inspected before the movement damages other parts.9. Why is my washer making a loud noise?
A loud washer can be caused by a bad drain pump, foreign object, worn bearings, motor issue, belt problem, pulley problem, loose part, shock absorber failure, or something trapped between the tub and drum.
Noise should not be ignored because a small mechanical issue can turn into a larger repair if the washer keeps running under stress.10. Why is my washer stuck mid-cycle?
A washer can get stuck mid-cycle because of a drain problem, fill problem, door lock issue, pressure sensor failure, control board issue, motor problem, wiring fault, or error code condition.
The machine may stop to protect itself when it cannot confirm water level, drain status, door lock, or drum movement correctly.11. Why is my washer not filling with water or overflowing?
A washer may not fill because of a water inlet valve, pressure sensor, hose restriction, control issue, or water supply problem.
A washer may overflow because the machine does not properly sense the water level or the valve does not close correctly.
Both problems need diagnosis before parts are replaced.12. Why is my washer showing an error code?
Washer error codes can point to problems with the drain system, motor, door lock, water fill system, pressure sensor, control board, wiring, or communication between parts.
The code is useful, but it is not the full diagnosis. We still inspect the washer and confirm what actually failed before recommending a repair.13. Can I see real washer repair cases before scheduling?
Yes. EasyFix publishes real appliance repair cases with photos, symptoms, diagnosis, parts, and repair details.
You can see washer repair examples in our EasyFix repair blog, including a Samsung washer error 3E1 repair, a washer that kept draining on its own, and a Samsung washer lid lock replacement.
We use real cases because photos and repair details say more than marketing promises.14. Do you provide washer repair in Vancouver, WA?

Yes. EasyFix provides washer repair in Beaverton, OR, Tigard, OR, Lake Oswego, OR, and nearby Portland Metro areas.
Because these are busy service markets, we recommend sending the model number, photos, and symptoms before the visit. This helps us check the issue, possible parts, and whether the repair makes sense.19. Is service availability the same in every city?
Not always. Some cities are part of our regular daily route, while others are scheduled by route and job type.
The fastest way to confirm availability is to send the washer model number, symptoms, and a few photos. This helps us understand the job before the visit, check possible parts, and avoid unnecessary delays.
